Recently, the OpenHarmony Developer Conference 2025 (OHDC.2025, hereinafter referred to as the "Conference") was held in Shenzhen. The conference officially released the open source HarmonyOS 5.1 Release version, held ceremonies such as "Open Source HarmonyOS Application Technology Component Co construction Launch, Open Source HarmonyOS AI Agent Technology Co construction Launch", and set up eight themed sub forums, inviting open source operating system technology experts, cutting-edge practice experts, developers, representatives of ecological partners and other guests to discuss the future development of open source HarmonyOS technology and share the latest development experience.

Quanzhi was invited to participate in this conference and gave a themed presentation titled "Quanzhi Technology Industry Intelligent Chip OpenHarmony Solution Adaptation and Certification Experience Sharing". In the theme sharing, Quanzhi introduced the scenario application and product roadmap of "Industrial Intelligent SoC". At present, Quanzhi has more than ten mainstream chips active in the field of industrial intelligence SoC, covering all scenarios of the industrial intelligence industry such as entry-level, mid-range, high-end, flagship, etc. Relying on reliable processes and advanced IP, Quanzhi provides platform based SoC solutions with full computing power coverage, empowering various sub scenarios of the industrial intelligence industry.
In the sharing, Quanzhi also highlighted the process and experience of adapting Quanzhi's chip solution to OpenHarmony. Quanzhi has been collaborating with the Open Atom Foundation since 2021, and has adapted multiple chips to the OpenHarmony system and obtained compatibility certification. The certification obtained this time is based on the design and development of the Infineon embedded FET527-C module/development board based on the Quanzhi T527 chip. This solution is compatible with the standard version OpenHarmony4.1/OpenHarmony5.0 system.
T527 "is an" eight core industrial grade high-performance artificial intelligence chip "launched by Quanzhi, which integrates an 8-core Arm ® Cortex ®- A55 CPU、NPU、Mali ™- Multiple high-performance computing units such as GPU, DSP, MCU, etc. have powerful hardware encoding and decoding capabilities and rich screen and camera interfaces, supporting common interfaces such as CAN, PCIe, SDIO, USB, GMAC, SPI, TWI, UART, GPADC, LRADC, PWM, etc. The chip meets industrial grade quality standards and can be applied in fields such as smart industry, smart power, and automotive electronics.

The adaptation work of the OpenHarmony system was jointly completed by Quanzhi, Softtek, and Infineon Embedded. Quanzhi is mainly responsible for adapting and supporting the internal technical modules of the chip, including key modules such as GPU, Audio, Video, etc; Softtek is responsible for OpenHarmony related technical support and resolving issues related to CTS testing, including ssts, acts validator, openHarmony kernel module configuration, etc; Infineon Embedded is responsible for the development of peripheral modules such as WiFi/BT/TP/RTC, CTS testing resources and preparation, and integration of the T527 overall solution.
Finally, Quanzhi introduced the process of OpenHarmony certification. OpenHarmony compatibility testing requires partners to obtain code and compatibility testing kits, and complete self testing. After obtaining the compatibility test report, upload it in the testing process for review or sampling by the Open Atomic Open Source Foundation team. The scope of compatibility testing suite includes application compatibility testing, API compatibility testing, hardware abstraction layer compatibility testing, distributed compatibility testing, system security vulnerability testing, etc. Quanzhi shared possible problems and solutions encountered during the testing process.
At present, the OpenHarmony ecological product compatibility certificate for the FET527-C module/development board has been officially granted, and the relevant code has been uploaded to the code repository. Customers and partners can download the code and related materials of the solution from the community. In the future, Quanzhi will work with partners to support more solutions based on Quanzhi chips for the adaptation and product promotion of OpenHarmony systems, and jointly promote the construction of the open-source HarmonyOS ecosystem.
