At present, video products are evolving rapidly. From the earliest VGA to 720P, 1080P, and then to 2K and 4K, each technological upgrade has significantly enhanced the user experience of visual products. Among them, apart from the continuous improvement of resolution, people's pursuit of night vision effect and visual experience has never stopped. When night falls and there is insufficient light, current mainstream visual products often rely on external lighting methods such as infrared and white light to achieve black and white images or color pictures. Color loss and light pollution seriously affect the user experience. However, with the deep integration of visual SoC and AI NPU, the "black light full color technology" has emerged. It improves the product's light sensitivity limit and optimizes the color imaging level of the product in low-light environments, providing users with an experience superior to human vision.
In response to this technological upgrade and market demand, Allwinner has launched its self-developed new-generation AI ISP intelligent image processing engine - "Allwinner Zhiying" on the "V85X series" chips. Through massive data training and model depth optimization in combination with the SOC platform, "Allwinner Zhiying" not only enhances imaging effects in various complex low-light scenarios, achieving black-light full-color, but also provides higher-quality input for low-light AI detection processing (such as human figures, faces, etc.) to improve detection and recognition rates, playing a crucial role in reducing false triggers and other pain points.
Compared with its own and the industry's traditional ISP, "Allwinner Zhiying AI ISP" can improve the sensitivity by 2 to 4 times under the same sensor and lens, and optimize the performance of low-light brightness, color and trailing. As shown in the following effect comparison diagram, it is paired with a back-illuminated 1/2.7 sensor + F1.0 aperture black light full color. In addition, based on this technology, when paired with a traditional sensor and a common lens, there is also a significant improvement in low-light effects. This technology can be widely applied in various scenarios such as security, automotive, and general vision, providing upgraded and optimized solutions for user experience in these scenarios.


At the same time, the "Quanzhi Zhiying AI ISP" has been deeply optimized for typical demand problems encountered in the development and mass production of terminal products, with the following three technical characteristics:
(1) Low system consumption, easy to expand multi object
It can achieve 1080P~1440P processing and mass production with customer applications at a minimum of 128MB 16 bit DDR3. The noise reduction model paired with the "Quanzhi Zhiying AI ISP" is only a few hundred KB in size and can be supported without changing the Flash type. At the same time, the engine architecture can support dual camera and future triple camera, making it easier for future multi camera product upgrades and iterations.
(2) Low power consumption of the system
Compared to the cost and power consumption of external infrared light boards (1W~2W) required for the original consumer security products' infrared black and white images, the "Quanzhi Zhiying AI ISP" only adds 200~400mW (depending on the product resolution and frame rate) in image processing of the same specifications. While achieving full-color images, it saves the cost and power consumption of infrared fill light, and can further extend the recording time of low-power battery cameras/video doorbells by at least 0.5 to 1 times (the specific multiple depends on the number of infrared triggers at night), greatly improving the user experience of the whole machine.
(3) Millisecond level cold start
Cold start the "Quanzhi Zhiying AI ISP" to generate images into memory within 500ms; Kuaiqi Zhiying 2.0 is about to be released in Q3, which further improves the image speed on the basis of the original, and is equipped with a new generation of image sensors to form AOV (AlwaysOnVideo) and pre roll solutions, achieving low-power products that are as bright as daylight all day long and have long-lasting battery life.

At present, the V85X platform SDK has been released in conjunction with Quanzhi's latest "Quanzhi Zhiying AI ISP", and provides a stable and easy-to-use SDK software development kit to support rapid upgrades and mass production of visual products.
The new release of the "Quanzhi Zhiying AI ISP" technology is not only a technological breakthrough, but also an upgraded experience for traditional imaging technology. It is also an excellent product manifestation of Quanzhi AI technology landing on the end side. It will allow us to see farther and clearer in dark light conditions.
